Thursday, December 9th | 12:35 pm ET
This session will look at the opportunities for innovation when we dare to let go of paper and focus on the information contained upon each page. We will explore use cases including opportunities for creative problem solving, pitfalls, considerations and the rosy future of the New Role Operations in Banking.
Linda Cooper has spent over thirty years working with systems and software in a variety of different industries. Curious and self-motivated, Linda pushes innovation by implementing new programs and techniques including streamlining physical inventory processes to use system tools on handheld devices and retire manual paper count forms, to developing a nationwide sales tax reporting database for a company that moved from a local market to a national footprint.
With Gorham Savings since 2013, Linda’s broad perspective from her varied professional experience has proven to be an asset. She manages several departments for the bank, including their data processing team that handles transaction files traveling on multiple rails. Thinking ahead, she has created a new content management team, made up of analysts that focus on system configuration and support, data and records management, workflow, and automation.
The interesting opportunities available in operations keep her excited to go to work every day from her home office in rural Maine.
